Natasha has always been fascinated in the human body and how it worked. She enjoys interacting with people on a daily basis and was looking for a career that involved the communication aspect combined with movement. This sparked her interest in high school where she found herself volunteering in the sports injury clinic and getting a feel for what went on behind the scenes. Natasha immediately fell in love with helping and treating injured people and knew Physiotherapy was the right fit for her. 


Natasha completed her Masters in Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney. She is originally from The Bahamas and completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of Western Ontario in Canada. After spending two years in Sydney, she decided it was time for a change and moved to the Gold Coast where she fell in love with the place she now calls “home away from home”. Natasha’s sporting background includes dance, tennis, equestrian and currently has a passion for yoga. She is a fitness enthusiast and encourages healthy living.  


Natasha is passionate about helping others. She wants people to live pain free, whether it is from sports related injuries or everyday aches and pains. She is here to help achieve faster recovery goals and maximize one’s physical potential. 

Mike Clair

Mike is the newest member of the Physioflex team. He has an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and a post-graduate Doctor of Physiotherapy. He has experience working with an array of sports clubs and athletes. His experience ranges from weekend-warriors to working with the Australian Rugby Union U20 team.

Upon graduating from university, Mike has conducted research in the clinical area of foot pathologies. His area of focus is on plantar fascitis and the effect of strength interventions. His most recent publication was in the Journal of Physical Therapy and Sport: Strength training for plantar fasciitis and the intrinsic foot musculature: A systematic review. Mike has a novel way of treating foot pathologies and is awaiting publication for his most recent research.

Mike has special interest in; weight-loss management, musculoskeletal injuries, falls prevention and independence, sports rehabilitation and performance, pre and post operative rehabilitation, strength training, work-related injuries, and manual therapy.

Ben is principal at PhysioFlex Sports and Health Centre. He has a bachelors degree in Exercise Science and post graduate Masters degree In Physiotherapy. He has worked extensively within private practice treating many elite national athletes of varying sports as well as many local sporting teams, the Mater Childrens and Adults hospitals and has worked rurally in Queenslands St.George and Roma Hospitals. 


He uses a variety of techniques to help clients achieve the best possible results. Ben undertook various courses in cardiorespiratory and orthopedics at the Royal Brisbane Hospital and uses these courses in combination with various other manual therapies, pilates and rehabilitation exercises to help manage and treat his patients.


A previous middle distance track and field national athlete, Ben is now interested in most sports and uses his elite sporting background experience and exercise science degree to aid physiotherapy assessments and treatments. He has had extensive experience with hamstring strains, ACL and MCL knee injuries, and ankle sprains. His background has enabled him to work with a significant number of middle to long distance runners and experience treating sporting injuries, patellofemoral pain, osgood schlatters, achilles tendonitis, and calf pain.


Ben also worked within a team clinic of orthopedic screening physiotherapists where he and his team were responsible for the management and rehabilitation of chronic disease and post-operative orthopaedic patients, including knee, hip and shoulder arthritis plus rotator cuff repairs, ACL Knee Reconstructions, hip and knee replacements, and various other musculoskeletal conditions.

Alex is a qualified Nutritionist (BHSc. Nut.) completing her degree at Queensland University of Technology & Yoga Teacher trained under the guidance of yog vishveketu & the team of amazing facilitators at Anand Prakash ashram in India. Having spent time abroad in Bali & India souly to study Yoga and nutrition, Alex’s health practice is a mixture of eastern and western medicine. Each nutritional practice Alex undertakes with her clients stems from evidenced based knowledge combined with ancient ayuvedic practices that give positive results for the mind, body and spirit. Alex’s goal in life is to encourage others to be mentally, physically & spiritually healthy by intuitively connecting with the body and utilizing food as medicine.

Aleks Baruksopulo is a Gold Coast Podiatrist who graduated with his Podiatry degree in 2007 and his Biomedical Science Degree in 2001.  His main interest and background is in the prevention, treatment and management of sports and musculoskeletal injuries of the feet and lower limb.  He has gained his experience working within Physiotherapy and Sports Medicine clinics and a Sports shoe store his whole career, working as part of a team to treat athletes and sporting teams of all ages and levels.


His specialties within Podiatry practice include injury management within a sports medicine team environment, management of athlete activities during injury period, treatment and management of injuries of the junior athlete, exercise prescription, foot strength exercises, return to running programs, dry needling, biomechanical assessments, running and walking video gait analysis, sports foot orthotic therapy, foot orthoses for casual shoes, footwear assessments, running & sports shoe referrals, diabetic foot assessments & care and treatment of conditions of the toe nails and skin.

Jenny has developed an extensive knowledge of allied health and administrative services after having joined the PhysioFlex team in 2010.
